Adhesives are generally available in 3 different grades:
- Premium grade adhesive suitable for all types of both solid and engineered, including super wide boards. (Hexabond is an example of this)
- Standard grade adhesive suitable for up to medium width engineered boards and overlay solid flooring. (Quatrabond is an example of this)
- Gun grade adhesive in a foil sausage. This is for uneven subfloors and can also be used with the slatted underlay as part of a sound reduction system.
